Has anyone sold a tin boat on here? Look thru the listings and do not see any RT188's, everything is glass boats. Are guys looking in the boats for sale section for aluminum boats??

I purchased my 2017 from the from the Boats for Sale on here. The seller couldn't have been more accommodating . It was an out of state seller and required extra effort on his behalf.
I have seen several listed when I browse that section. I just don't have a need to go there very often.
The best way to cheer yourself up is to cheer up someone else.
I sold my 2013 RT 188 in 2016 through BBC. No issues.
As a seller remember, your ultimate goal is to sell the boat. Be flexible and accommodating, in my case I towed the boat 3 hours to help with delivery to the buyer.
Didn’t have to, but I wanted to do anything I could to complete the sale.
Also don’t try to sell a used boat for a new boat price, when a boat sits, it’s usually priced too high.
For the record I purchased my 2013 188 for $25k, sold 3 years later for $17,500, I was happy with that.
I would imagine selling on here is alot better experience than on craigslist. Probly alot more serious legit offers. I dealt with so much bs and rediculous offers but it worked out in the end. Accomidation is the key for sure i did alot of dragging the boat around but i got a good price and they got a nice boat they were happy with. You selling to upgrade?

Whatcha got?
What I see in the buyers market on any product for sale,
if the buyer can't steal it, you won't make a sale. The day of getting
top money for a pristine item is history, and then only if you can find a buyer
who knows value and doesn't have to borrow money. The bank is only going
to loan 80% on the boat, motor and trailer. They don't care if you have another
5k in electronics, your suppose to absorb that loss and smile. LDS

I tend to list high on craigslist for at least a week to see what happens. You never know. I ended up selling my 2008 tracker 175 for more than i thought i would. First guy that looked at it. I know i got lucky but so could you

I’d expect about 55% of the replacement cost on a five year old boat. You’ll figure out just how much we pay for the lifetime warranty and expensive extended motor warranty when you sell a rig without them.
