    Don
    Absolutely do this!

You'll be fine either way, but I love my BassCat Puma! I love their customer support! I'm doing a bit of refurbishment on my 2011 right now - just replacing little odds and ends that are getting worn out from a cosmetic stand point, but still serviceable. I feel like I have Allen on speed-dial these days. They are very helpful over at BCB.

Unless something changes radically over there, I will always be in a BassCat boat from now on.
    Sincerely,

    Boat rating system
Make a list of what in important to you in order of importance
Assign a rating point value according to what you think is most important
Add up the points to see who gets the most
Avoid asking about Bass Cats on a bass cat forum or Rangers on a Ranger forum as you will mostly get biased opinion, the only opinion that really counts in the end is yours
This what I do to make final decisions

    Reputation of manufacture 1-10
    Warranty 1-10
    Quality 1-10
    Handling 1-10
    Rough water ride 1-8
    Resale value 1-8
    Top Speed 1-6
    Storage 1-5
    Lay out 1-4
    Whistles & Bells 1-4
    Appearance 1-5
    Quality of trailer 1-8
In my opinion BassCat wins every time in what is important to me
