Man, that's what you do instead of dropping 60-80k for a new boat. Get a proven hull and make it new again for way, way less. Awesome!!!

250 pro xs.jpgJust had my new 250 Pro XS installed on my 202 this weekend. Really need to share some set up info. I see you have a 10 or 12 plate. What made you go with that over a 8". Have you ran it yet? Thanks

    10" Rapid Jack Magnum
Steve (Hydrodynamics) had just designed/built the transducer mounting to fit his 10" Rapid Jack Magnum, transducer mounting shown in the attached photo (bottom of the jackplate). I do not want transducer mounting bracket nor adel clamp screws in the transom. Mr. Goff advised me that I would be giving up some handling going with 10" versus 8", but I am willing to do that in order eliminate secondary mounting screws/holes in the transom.

    Currently, prop-to-pad is set at 3 1/2".
Prop is new Tempest 26 worked by Josh (Steve's Custom Props).

Boat/motor has not been ran, yet. Need to complete remaining new installations (new Merc gauges) then break-in motor.

I like your Champ 202, also!!!! Very fond of the Champ 202 for many years.

looks good. get out and get some numbers.

Why is it that the mid 90's boats all look good? all classic/timeless lines?

Both great looking rides!! I think the leaned-back windshields look better. But, in these cooler temps, the old-school will be nice. Congrats to both of you.

To both who has updates their motors... how much trouble was in to install the new heartbeat? Wiring, gauges, hydraulics, etc.?

Wow that’s an amazing rig! You have great taste and obviously a great boat builder to work with!

Kcg202champ. It’s not bad at but for our application you see when they redid the transom they also cut a additional hole in the spalshwell for the rigging hose. What a huge difference it made to do that.
