    Joining the Triton Crew

    Hello all, name is Jordan.

I am joining your crew and picking up a left over 2019 189 TRX with the 175 Pro Xs 4 stroke.

I hope to be able to pick it up on Saturday. I'm stoked! I've never purchased a new boat before.

This rig will get a lot of use with my middle school son who is on the school fishing team. It just started this year and he is hooked! (pardon the pun)

Anyone else have a rig similar to this? Speeds or set up?

Thanks for the warm welcome. Looks like I'll take delivery sometime next week.

Funny part is I grew up about 30 mins from where Triton started in Ashland City, never knew it as a kid.

Guess Earl is back in town with Caymas now.

I have no real world experience yet because I haven't picked up my boat, but it seems like there is about 300 rpm left on the table with that setup. Assuming it is the Pro XS.

Yeah there is it’s probably over propped because the boat was dang near empty and couldn’t get the full rpms in cold weather. Probably get a smaller prop spring or maybe a Bravo FS

Well tomorrow is the day. I'll be picking it up first thing tomorrow! Looks like we will have some decent weather, I'll be starting the break in tomorrow too.

Congrats on your new boat, the 189TRX's are an awesome boat, and will serve you and your son well. Make sure you take advantage of the promotions that Triton offers for High School fisherman, and the BASS Federation. That's a lot of money back to you at no cost to the dealers.

I've already got the paper filled out and a letter from our fishing club president! I'm all over that. Another reason I went with Triton.

That’s an awesome rig! Make sure to put some pics up! You’re going to love that boat, it’s set up perfectly imo. Hope you and your son enjoy the heck out of it!

Finally got it home today! My truck decided it was going to have a bad misfire about 10 miles from home, but we made it!

Sadly didn't get it out on the water today, but I've got a buddy lending me his truck tomorrow. I'll get it out and do at least the first two hours of break in.

    I'm excited!

Here are some pictures, I'm awful of taking them, but my wife did snap some when I got it home in the driveway.
