    2000 Ficht 200 History

    Is there a way anybody can get the history on this engine for me? Curious on what may have been done to it including the recalls. Supposed to have around 60hrs on it. Thank you!

    No recalls and the best history would be from the owner/owners of this engine over the last 20 years. The unit was sold in early 2000 and warranty expired 2 years latter so over 17 years ago. The best thing would be to get the history report from the engine which for a 2000 era outboard it tells you alot of info. Strong engines, use correct plugs, make sure it comes upto temp, turns ideally approx 5600RPM and use XD-100 if my engine and good fuel. If buying it I would get a switch on dealer to do a good water pump service including the exhaust backpressure fitting and a good dose of engine tuner.
