    Question Starter Issues

I have a 1986 Mercury 150. Replaced starter, solenoid, and battery. When I turn the key I still get only a click. All cables seem to be ok. I get 12v from ignition to the solenoid. Any ideas of what to check next.

If you would, please take a moment to review the Announcements at the top of the Forum, and be sure to provide the Required Info when posting. Thanks!

Monitor voltage on each side of the Starter Solenoid (one side at a time) while attempting to start the engine. Either you have a bad component you installed, OR you have a cable/connector/wiring problem.
