Ultrex will not run if the prop stops in a certain position.

My motor runs fine but sometimes will not run at all if the prop has stopped in a certain position. Could this be a bad spot on the armature? If I manually move the prop it will run until the next time it stops in the wrong position and will not start until I bang it or move the prop.

You have a bad spot on the armature. Take it to an ASC
    Ranger Boats / Mercury Motors
G Loomis Rods / Shimano Reels
    Raymarine / MinnKota Ultrex
    Garmin / Live Scope Plus
    Pepper Jigs / Robo Worms
    Troll Bridge / V-T2 Vents

Bad Armature. Bring to ASC and it will be replaced under warranty.

My friend’s brand new power drive has the same issue. ASC replaced the armature.
