    Garmin Update Question

I have 2 Ultras networked together. Should I disconnect my network cable & update
each set or will updating one set with the network cable connected automatically
update the other? My memory is fading.

Its setup to where if you have all units powered up it will update units throughout the network.......i only turn one on at a time and update it like that.

I think I did one at a time last update but I had to disconnect my network cable to do it..

I can put either in the Sleep mode, but if I power 1 off, it turns the other off

Garmin updates are designed to update all ethernet and NMEA2000 devices during one update process. Simply power up your entire system and all networked devices, and let the update process work. You will see the progress of the updates as the system checks your devices, identifies those that need it, then applies the updates.

With this said, you can also update one unit at a time if you wish.

Thanks Jeremy & Todd. Was successful in doing the 2 sets & LS through the network.
Very neat the way it works. It tells you when one unit is updated & shows the progress with the other set and Livescope

Just updated 3 networked units. Took all the AC cards out of each unit. Turned one unit on at a time. Went to install SD card with update on it. What was weird was update card had to be installed in unit that was the last one I turned on. Started update and watched progress go through all 3 units and LS box until install was complete. Easy

If you have 3 Ultra units networked, will you explain to me how you can turn 1 unit on at a time? When I turn 1 unit on the other turns on automatically...Same thing with turning them off. turn 1 off, the other turns off..

Look under ( Settings>System>Auto Power Up) I have it set to "off".
under (Settings>System>Auto Power Off) I have it set to "Never"
    I have 2 ultras and 1 EchoMap+.
After this update I did notice that now when you press the power button to shut down the unit it says "Turning off this unit will turn off other Ultra units". Which it did, but not the Echomap+.
