    200 EFI Lower Unit Issue

Have a 2002 200EFI (s/n OT444415) with lower unit problem ... Funny/hard shifting into forward and a rough, grinding sound (and no forward motion) ... Reverse seems to work okay ... Drained the lower unit last night - no sign of metals or brass (oil was a little dark and level seemed okay) ... Would this be a lower unit rebuild or just a shifting problem?

Most likely the shift cable is out of adjustment. Easy fix back at the motor.
1995 Allison XB-2003 225 Super Mag. It's slow and I'm ok with that.

if you make adjustments and still have problem disassembly will be needed, possible clutch and gear replacement
