Has anyone been on Kinkaid recently? Was thinking of heading there this weekend and I'm looking for any bass intel that may help my trip.
Thanks

Check out the Illinois forum on crappie.com..There is a crappie guide that guides on Kinkaid Lake. IM him and he'll know the conditions..

Well we made it out there today and it was tough and rough. 2 bass total but nice healthly chunks. 1 at 7.6 and 1 at 4.5. Both off a white tandem spinner bait. Just thought I share the info.

16". They had an 18" limit on for a few years. It really help the bass population and there are some hefty ones one there. 2 years ago I fished a buddy tournament and the winning 6 fish total was 29 pounds with their largest weighting close to 9. It was in early Oct and they were throwing frogs not far from the launch ramp.
