    Spot lock issues

I have 2015 riptide st 112. I’m having issues with spot lock. When I hit the anchor button it tries to lock but goes back and forth at high speeds and doesn’t just want to set in one place. If it windy or not doesn’t seem to matter. How do I reset it? I can’t any user manuals fo the motor or the remote?

The early models spot locks did wounder around.
Try marking a way point on the object you want to fish.
Allow the boat to drift off the spot.
And Have your remote take you to the spot.
It will than spot lock and should not wounder so much.
Also when locking on a spot the boat speed needs to be as slow as possible,
Or the motor will ramp up and throw you in the water, trying to get back to the spot,, dont ask me how i know.

It has A wire coming out of it, looks like it could hook up to A fish finder. Would it help if I get one with gps?
