    Ranger bay 2510

I replaced the pads and one new rotor
on my duel axle trailer. But I don’t think they are engaging.
i can feel the surge hit but doesn’t seem to slow down that well. I felt the rotors after coming for quests grade and they weren’t even warm?
i checked the fluid it was fine. So any explanations?

I have you bled the brakes recently? That would be my first thought.

Update, I went Back to the mechanic that worked on my trailer. He said he didn’t bleed the brakes, and wanted 230 bucks to open they up. At this point I don’t trust him. So I’m assuming they would just need to be bled?

Bleed them yourself not to hard and it would be good to know how. I don’t know your specific brakes so I can’t tell you how but someone here should. Changing the rotor and pads does not normally require bleeding, only needed if caliper/tubing disconnected. He may not of had to do that to change pads or rotor. If he did then he should have bled them, seems to cause a liability if he doesn’t.
