    2017 F150 3.5 with a heavy load

Went to pickup shingles for my garage addition and realized it was a heavier load than I thought. Probably 14-15k. I do have airbags and drove this about 10 miles back home. Towed it like a dream. Trailer brakes worked great as well.

I have been pulling my 14k tractor and trailer around with my 5.0 f-150. It does surprisingly well, no issues stopping or handling the load [air bags also]. Hills and getting the load moving is slow but not unacceptable. My F-250 sold way too quick and my F-350 is still scheduled to be built. It has been a long wait so far, hopefully will be worth it! So far the F-150's have been impressive to say the least! A good friend has a 14 EB and tows a lot with it. It does well. CJ
