RecTec. My son bought the Bull ((RT700) a few months back. That thing has made me consider selling my beloved BGE.
Traeger, and the others I’ve looked at, while very capable cookers, don’t come close for built quality IMHO.

I got a Rec Tec RT590 in May and cook on it at least 3 or 4 nights a week. Incredible machine. It's built like a tank and I love the Wi-Fi monitoring and controlling.

Rectec is fantastic. Customer service is phenomenal. Quality is unmatched. They offer the sear grates which do make a difference. We use our RecTec all the time.

That's one of my favorite features of the rec-tec is the phone app. Give them a shout to find a fix. Nothing better than monitoring the temp brisket, shoulder, etc., from the comfort of your bed at 3 AM.

I have a Louisiana Competition pellet smoker. It is huge but it is the best thing I have ever bought to cook with. I have all but retired my BGE. I just use the Egg for steaks now. Everything else goes on the smoker or the Blackstone.

Well, my wife bought a 24" Kamado BJ 1 year ago from these guys, because it was on the top of the list and people were talking good about that one, but I bet it would be a better choice to spend a hundred more to buy rec tec.

Personally out of those two I would go with RecTec. I feel it is a better all around unit.

Between those 2, I'd go with a Rectec. Better build quality all around.

Love my Rec Tec pellet smoker. good quality product with excellent customer service. I would buy another one in a heartbeat. All that said, you might want to check out the new Weber pellet smokers.

You can do a ton of research online and your not going to find to many negative reviews on the Rec tec. Their customer service is really good also.

Another vote for the Rec Tec. I have the RT-590 and it has been awesome. Very well built compared to my buddies woodwind. I have also been really impressed with customer service.

Another Rec tec vote. I have the mini that will be 3 years old this December.

Will probably upgrade to the 700 within the next year.
