    My Dad

    Took him to the ER Sunday because he wasn't feeling good. His kidney's were functioning at 10%. They transferred him to Harris in FW. Finally got to pick him up and bring him home today. After being married 65 years, mom was missing him not there at night. It's been a long week

    I took off all week to drive mom back and forth and stay up there all day. Every nurse and doc was nice as could be.

    Hope he recovers Dubee. I went thru the same thing with my brother. He fought kidney failure for many years. Prayers for your dad and your mom. You are a good son!!!!!!

    Glad hear that Harris is well regarded. My Mom and Dad have both been there a few times, as was my Grandad before he passed. Always just figured it was the closest decent hospital to their house.

    My wife worked at Harris a few times. She is a traveling Nurse.. Glad your dad was taking care of and he is doing great... Miss my dad.. He passed away when I was 9 years old in 1974... Missed having him around and learning from him.. Give your dad a big hug....
