I typically fish from the front where there is a cup holder and tool holder already built in but my wife typically fishes from the back and there isn't a cup holder or tool holder.She wanted something so I was looking for some options last year and saw some of what has been suggested in this thread but it wasn't quite what I wanted. I saw a picture of a tool holder that was bolted to a grab rail on a center console boat and though I could design and 3D print something similar. So I measured the seat post and designed this.
Have run it like this with lures hooked up on wavy days on Lake St Clair with no issues. I have since also made a cup holder in a similar fashion. So now she has this tool holder and a cup holder close at hand.
