    Looking good.
I've fished a couple of championship tournaments on Toledo. From what I remember there's not many places you can run a straight line long enough to need a SM. With all the timber in that lake the side water intakes would be an advantage.
We talked about having our championship there this past year but all the reports we got said the fishing was tough.
I was talking with Nancy yesterday and she said they had just rigged a new one with a Lowrance…..bet it was yours.

Yea, how about a little more detail and review on the Ghost? How does the pedal feel, responsiveness? Any noise from lower unit or motor up top?

I think that the Ghost is awesome. Its very responsive and the steering is easy. I think that the spot lock works really well except that it initially thrusts hard to stick the spots.

TBend, does the Ghost have a feature to offset the size of the hull so it doesn't move so hard? The Ultrex has that feature and really helps with that.

I don't know if the Ghost has an offset feature. I have really loved the trolling motor but have not used all of the features. One thing that really stands out to me as compared to the Fortrex on my other Allison is that the auto stow feature is awesome. It keeps the motor from hitting the hull when it is retrieved. The steering is very fast and the spot lock is dead on.
Both of the Allisons that I have had have been powered with the the 225proxs with the Torque Master. The efficiency is incredible. There is no doubt that an R motor with a sport master will run much faster and may be a little easier to drive. I have been on the Mercury pro team for years and the program does not include Mercury Racing Motors. Having said that the boat is still an over 80 mile per hour tournament fishing boat. It is amazing to me that people always think of an Allison as some sort of lightweight racing boat when at the core it is as fine of a fishing boat as there is. The construction quality is so far and above any other brand that it almost makes it an whole different segment. I have toured most major bass boat factories over the years and have seen the construction methods that others use. They are good boats, some better that others, but not even in the same league as an Allison.
