4 beeps

I’ve got a 2006 225 pro xs. This afternoon I thought I heard a steady beep while I was running. So I shutdown and turned my graphs off. As I started to give it some throttle to get on pad it gave 4 beeps then turned in to a steady beep. My main concern is I went ahead and opened it up and my top end is 20mph slower so I backed back out and idled in. It’s not got a miss or anything and plenty of oil. Any advice would be appreciated thanks
