Question 4 bank battery charger questions

This will be an on-board unit.

    - New or used. If new, any recommendations where from?
    - Brand? Or does it matter, are most built by the same company, just different decals?
    - It doesn't need to charge super quick, overnight is fine.
    - Batteries will be lead acid.

    Thank You

There’s differences in brands and models within brands. Properly charging batteries helps extend battery life and prevent premature failure/damage. Always had good luck with my Dual Pro chargers and customer service is outstanding. Running a MinnKota 345PC in this boat and been very pleased (345PC is 3 bank 15/bank but they make a 4 bank in both brands).

I have used Promariner in the past and currently have a MK PC charger. Both have been good. I like that you can select by bank the type of battery on the MK PC charger. So far is has been great, no issues. Smaller and lighter than most as well.

Both are good. Minn Kota has settings for either flooded cell and AGM batteries which is nice

Just switched from Dual Pro to Minn Kota due to moving to Lithium Batteries.

Have 18 month old 4 bank Dual Pro Professional series charger for sale if interested. It would not work with the Lithiums. Excellent condition.

Last night I ordered a Cabela's three bank 20 amp charger, on sale for $133.99 . Free shipping.

    https://www.cabelas.com/product/CABE...ER/2416312.uts

Due too changing my mind on battery placement, and re-calculating the boat budget. It's running lean!
I plan on putting the three trolling motor batteries in the midship area. Starting battery in the back.
I plan on getting a small charger/maintainer for the starting battery. I have one on it now, that I use for the mower. Been swapping it back and forth.
Thanks too all for the input !
