    Chrome Trim Cleaning (Water Spots)

Looking for recommendations for products that help clean the water spots off the chrome accent pieces at the back of the boat. Pump-out trim piece and chrome trim piece across transom.

When I pull mine out I spray it with Bass Boat Saver then wipe it down before I leave. For me it's easier to clean it wet.

50/50 mix of water and vinegar to remove them. If they are bad, spray a towel and let it soak on there. Once they are gone, good coat of wax regularly and wipe with BBS when you pull the boat out each time.

+1 May not wipe it each time it is in the water but I will wipe it down often. Bass Boat Saver is easy and quick to use.

BBS works so well if used every time you don't need to wax often

Try Protec brand water spot remover. It is the best stuff I have ever used. Use it on the hull and motor as well. I also use F-11 on the whole boat and it does a wonderful job!
