Information about Platte Lake or Touch Lake

We are looking at taking a trip to Platte Lake or Touch Lake in June or July. We enjoy catching all types of fish. Which lake do you prefer? Thanks for any information. Thanks,

Neither has very many fish. I would try something in Southern Michigan...

Both lakes are pretty damm good. Platt is a decent sized lake with the chance of catching a brown while you are there. It has both brown and green fish. Torch. Best smally lake in the area hands down. Tons of structure in that lake , but you have to find it and most won't be above 20 foot. Fish leeward sides of points. Wind can be an issue on torch as no matter the direction it tends to funnel down the lake. You might even drop shot up a laker or land locked atlantic in Torch.

You can slide into Clam lake from Torch if the wind gets bad. I don't have much experience on either, but I can tell you if it's calm on Torch. Forget it. Here's looking at the bottom in 40 feet of water.
