    2004 Crestliner Bass

Nice looking modvee. Been looking for my brochures for specs. Length and beam. Along with horsepower rating. I think there were 17 and 18 ft models. This one looks to have a 50.

Nice looking boat but no way I would rock those colors. Too close to Bama.

Thanks it was the 2007 CX 19 I was thinking of. Looks just like a Ranger sitting there. Nice boat for sure.

Crestliner made the old Ranger tin Cherokee boats.

No doubt Rangers inspiration may have come from the Crestliner. But they made it a nicer boat and have more dealers in the south. Sorta Like Alumacrafts Invader series was a result of the G3. The engineer that designed the G3 Eagle Series around the late 1990s quit G3 and went to the Alumacraft southern plant and made damn near a copy with the Invader Series. Problem was Alumacraft did not improve on the G3. The Invader went away. Same to be said for Lowe and Polar Kraft bass models. The hulls are very much alike. Polar Kraft has a really nice rigg with the TX 195 Pro.

Back in those years the Xpress was top dog with the hyperlift hull. Still to this day Xpress is a great boat.

That is a very nice/clean well taken care of rig. Did you take it in on Trade?

I really appreciate seeing the older rigs that folks have taken care of. Takes me back...….

I don't take trades much anymore. Just sell new mostly. The boats back then in aluminum did look good. That Cherokee was classic. I prefer the look of the walleye boats more than bass boats. Walleye bass combo like the Lund and Cherokee due look good. My favorite the around 2005 time, 2025 ProV LE with the 250 Merc R. I had the brochure green boat and white with the Honda as a demo. Yes we took the Kicker off. Boat was a beast. I think they said it was the most expensive boat they had built to date. We crappie fished from it. Those boats were sharp looking rigs. Archives are good.
