    The Chick in mid November??

Guys my friend and myself will be coming down to Bluewater mid November and we have never fished here before. I suspect a top water bite will be a key factor but as far as frogs are concerned I'm as lost as a ball in high weeds. No idea on color for a frog as I dont own a single one anymore. My top water game consists of buzzbaits and spooks. Any help on a frog would be greatly appreciated.

Keep it simple you just need two colors
    Black and White.
Here are a couple different types and manufacturers I use.
    Stanley Ribbit
    Booyah Toad runner
    Booyah pad crasher
    scum frog trophy series
    spro bronzeye.
There are others out there just pick.

Just make sure you throw them on Braid.
    Minimum 50 lbs.

I am also coming to the Chick, next weekend. What is the water temp's at? Any advice is appreciated. Fish the grass up north or stay deeper farther south?

Water temp this weekend in Dayton was 60 in the creeks and 65 main lake. Boats were everywhere hammering the grass mats with frogs. We couldn’t get that bite going at all. Not sure if it was the front that came through and shut them off in there or what. We caught our fish outside the scattered grass on the main lake and into the channels. Had a handful of 2-3lbers each day and a few in the 5-7lb range. Good luck. Not a lot of reports out there right now.

Cool guys thanks for the info! Looks like the water isn't all the way down to winter pool yet. I was hoping it was already down. Falling water seems to make it tougher.
