    optimax 90 restrictor plate?

i have a 2006 Optimax 90 on a Crestliner 17' Fishhawk. I am planning on having Simon motorsports do a ECU upgrade /Flash. I understand that on the 75 optimax, one has to remove the air restrictor plate which seems to be a hassle. Does the Opimax 90 have an air restrictor plate? I dont want to tear into it if I dont need to.

    Thanks,

    chris

I would ask this in the Mercury forum, be sure to post all the info they ask for so they can give a good answer. They know everything!

Parts catalog doesn't show one for the 90, only the 75.

Both the 75 and 90 optimax engines have the air restrictor in the throttle body. I believe the size is the difference. Post number 2 of this older thread has a good diagram.
