    Building baits again

So after a ten year break from building baits and painting I’ve retired from job and actually have a little more time, I used to mod this board up til about 10 years ago but overtime at work and painting baits cut into my fishing time so I just quit doing it. Always enjoyed carving baits so back to it, first 2 pics are of a risto rap I cut the bill out of and replaced with micarta, 3 and 4th pics are a zoom stumpy type bait (not cleared yet)I’m working on getting right, first 2 baits I’ve painted in 10 years and I need a lot more practice to get it back. Getting ready to order some kbs the ureathane clear I used to use is not available anymore but open to others if anybody has something they like better...

Thanks guys, yep Mike we’ve been in here awhile! I just got burned out, after about 8 years it wasn’t fun anymore and took up way too much time add in working 60-80 hours a week at work it just all added up. More fun to build a few if I want and just kind of put it away when I want to fish more, bad part is all the paint I had to toss... made me ill!!

FYI... This page isn't what it used to be... Some were banned for selling their baits through IM's and not paying to advertise on BBC.

Not fair to the paying sponsors.
