    New to me Nitro

Hello. I just got a 2010 z7 with a 150 opti. I only ran it around for about an hour today but so far I love. I ran a 1997 Astro for 21 years and enjoyed that boat but this is much nicer. I plan on adding an ultrex over the winter so I'm sure I will be looking for guidance with that lol.

Congrats! Good lookin' rig. I had a '94 Astro S-17B for 6 years. Loved that boat! But you'll like fishin' outta this one too!

Thanks guys. I know its getting to be late season here in N.E.Pa but I will be out til the ice comes on. I hope to get more upgrades over the winter. Ultrex, and a higher end graph on the bow. And that center seat needs to go lol.

Let the modifications begin. Bought my 2011 last year. I swear I've spent weeks of my life changing tinkering yada yada.

Getting rid of the center seat should be number one and it'll take you about 10 mins to do.

LOL. Tinkering is a labor of love isn't it! Any tips on removing that seat? What did you replace it with?

Welcome to the "the fish don't know it's a Nitro" club.

Yup, a new TM, and/or a 2nd Power Pole is in your very near future. Mine had the silly 1-sided 8' pole when I got it (used). First year using it we dealt with it, using the trolling motor to stay still. That got OLD QUICK! Can't imagine which brainchild thought to use only 1, AND put it on the right side of the boat where all the weight is.

Went to dual 10' Blades and love them!
