    just wanted to clean up the HDS covers .

    Didn't like the white with Lowrance getting scratched and looking old , so I gave them a coat of spray paint with some texture and put on a decal I think they look pretty good for $5 investment...lol IMG_2548.JPG IMG_2550.JPG

    Looks good. I've seen others hydro-dip their covers with some cool designs that works also.

    Dunb question. The texture paint covered the Lowrance on the cover so you don't even know it (Lowrance) was there.

    yes no problem at all,just scuffed it with one of those 3M pads and wiped it with alcohol then sprayed

    BQuiz I used a can of Krylon Hammered Grey for color they have different shades and then top coat is Min-Wax Polyurethane spray. Less than $10 bucks for both and there is plenty left for whatever...
