Rodman has been really dirty, and bass fishing much slower than other drawdown years. The boat traffic is heavy even on weekdays, and probably why the water is so muddy.

Ditto to what John said, water is the lowest that I have seen from the 3 previous drawdowns I have witnessed. The ramp was full and there were many boats. The barge canal was 2-4 ft deep and many areas shallower. I am wondering how low do they plan on going?. Even the Speck fisherman had a rough time of it on Sunday.

They did do a good job with the temp ramp, plenty of parking and they did spring for some river rock at the ramp that helped a lot.

just sucked in a lot of trash in coolant system (Lake Garcia and Orange) and idled over a lower unit killer ( stump in rodman ) had wood in the water pump. Had it completely gone through, filters changed water pump ect. Needed it any way for warranty purposes to keep annual service records update should anything major ever happen. Warranty is through 2024.
