They are the same hull and will be within 1-2 mph of each other.

Sure of what the hull or speed?
Very small changes to the hull but they share the same pad. From what has been guessed the speed difference is from having a bigger open area on the sst causing mroe wind drag at top speed.
Is the console moved to the front more in the sst?
I have both sitting in my shop they are essentially the same boat and I'm seeing the same speeds in both just a different deck layout

My ss is for sale cant afford both my sst was used and not planned but it wouldn't wait kind of a deal the ss needs to go asap
I have a xrs now and if I do anything it will be a sst
I like my SST. Very well but still miss the performance of my old 20xd.
