    Covers Z521 vs 521VX

    Would the Z521 cover fit a 521VX effectively? It's a few inches longer and wider.

    I think the newer z521 is about 6" longer, and a few inches wider, especially up front. Prob would be better off just waiting and finding a used cover, they are out there.

    Yeah that's what I suspected. Turns out I can order one to fit direct from Ranger. Pricey, but best fit.

    I think you’re on the right track, Geoff. It isn’t just fitting over the top cap with room to spare that gets the job done on a boat cover, especially if you ever intend to trailer with it on. A little extra here, a little more extra there, and what you get is gap and puckers that catch the wind going down the road. You need a nice, tight fit in all dimensions simultaneously.
