Is a storage unit worth it......

Good morning,

Thinking about a climate controlled storage unit for 2 months in the winter. Regardless I will do the annual maintenance. Just wondering if the $200/month is worth it to keep the motor from being outside in the elements.

Will it help? Or is this just foolish?

I had a 97 Procraft 180 bass up until i got my 2019 Nitro Z19, and i put it in storage 1 year out of the 22 yrs that i had it. That was the only year that i had seen that i had a mouse in my boat. Every year that it sat outside i never seen any signs. Now i never had a garage until March this year so I had no choice to have it outside. Now with that being said I had a 1997 150 hp mariner engine on it and I never had any issues with that motor what so ever because of being outside. knock on wood that continues with this new boat.
