96 SuperPro200 with Merc 200...

We just picked this up for my Uncle. Nice boat. Jackplate looks like 8", manual adjust. Motor looks like it is 3" below the pad. I am thinking that is at least an inch too low? 96 Merc200 efi.

My uncle had it out yesterday, ran an easy 60mph but says steering is stiff, could that be the trim tab needs to be turned, it is straight right now?

Would be nice to find some original seats for the boat. It has been outfitted with 2 new Cabelas folding seats.

Seams the hatches on the floor are fiberglass.

You got any pictures of that boat. What color is it, i may be getting rid of my stock gray seats and going to allison bucket seats. It should have came stock with a 12"plate and that should be a 75mph boat with the 200efi. I'm running a 225pm on mine right now. But be careful, it does require a lot of driver attention until you get use to it.
