    I know a guy that worked very close to the plant. It operates on a 10 day on, 10 day off schedule. Maybe 20 & 20, can't remember the number of days but it's one of the two.

    They used to burn a trainload of coal each week, 24/7 - back before they installed any scrubbers or any other EPA gear. One of my club pals used to work in the plant, and smashed smallies in the canals all winter (or so he said). We could only hang outside the boom. It was never great, IME, but you could get bit in the deep winter (just don't douse the ramp going in, or pulling out's gonna be a trip).
