FLW MLF ANGLER LETTER

If they listened to the industry they wouldn’t zero out weights and would have created an actual Cup/Championship that includes Costa, BFL, and Fed anglers since that’s where majority of the participation is. Also if they listened to the industry they would’ve expanded the Costas out west. All they did was create smaller divisions in the mid west and south. So they separated each league to have an exclusive tournament instead of having an inclusive Championship tournament. (The guys who are fishing the BFL all American, and costa championship this year are shafted).

But seriously, the ROY wins a Polaris ATV?? That’s something that you’d win in a club open. It’s almost a slap in the face for the ROY and doesn’t really offer an incentive push harder for the ROY.

What does ROY win on the BASS side? I seriously don't know and have never thought about it. As far as the championship promises,,FLW made those promises, Not MLF.

Looks like Elites should be knocking down the doors trying to get to the best Tour with the most TV exposure and best payout of 200000 for a MLF format championship on the new and improved FLW circuit. The Kroenke Duckett/Klein and partners partnership will make history. What's not too be excited about.

My Lord some of you guys would complain if you pooped a golden brick!!! It reads as if they did try to listen to all sides here......and made concessions in a lot of places. I just read the 24 pages in like 15 minutes and have a good grasp what MLF is trying to do....reading comprehension is difficult for some I know.

Drew Cook won 39,000, for winning AOY and finishing 7th in points.

i get they made the promises, I’m just saying the OP was being a hype man saying they really listened to the anglers and public input and that’s not the case. If they did, they would still have some type of encompassing championship. It’s a distance chance for the Costa and BFL anglers but it’s an added incentive. It’s not going to be detrimental to the lower tiers, but also shows they say they listen to anglers but In reality do not. I’m still going to fish the BFLs as it has no impact on my decision but just regurgitating the talk in club and BFL circles

Nah, just hate the hypocrisy. Instant catch and release for the bpt cause they're all about protecting the resource but all their lower level events with thousands of participants have a 5 fish limit. Can't stand shit like this where people talk out of both sides of their mouth.

People think there's over 150 trained boat marshals available, all over the country, that can be ready to work dozens of events for multiple days!

In all honesty, I think you could easily implement the MLF format to BFL's/Costa's using technology. That would eliminate the need for marshalls. I'm guessing MLF is working on this behind the scenes.
