    Place to stay

    Going to watts bar area in spring to look for land to retire on.need a good place to stay. Taking the boat to do some fishing while we are there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Dayton, TN is 30 minutes down Hwy 27 and has plenty of great places to stay as it is where most Chick tourneys launch from.
    Spring City, TN is further up Hwy 27, not much there. Decatur, TN is on the other side of the lake, decent choices there for lodging.

    What part of the state you thinking about? if looking at middle look at winchester it has tims ford theres a new building area called twin creeks its nice and we are 2 hrs from any kind of water you want to fish and all the big name lakes and rivers.
