    Rain suit

Does anyone have any experience with the bass pro 100mph suit or the Aftco Hydronaut suit? Pros Cons for either. I have it narrowed down to them two suits for my new suit.

I have a BPS 100mph suit. Works like a charm. I haven't had any issues with it yet after 3 years. I would definitely buy it again. I also own a lightweight FroggTogg set. Mostly only use that one in the summer months.

Love the 100mph suit would definitely recommend it. I bought the inner jacket also for it. Extra $125 totally worth it.

I've had the 100 mph rain suit for more years than I remember and wouldn't have any other. I had the Frogg Togg suit but it's not for heavy long term storms.

My 100mph jacket and bibs are coming apart in places after 4 or 5 years of occasional use.

Neil had my 100 mph rain suit do the same a year ago. Believe it or not I used some 30# Power Pro braid and did a search of my rain suit where I sewed up any areas that looked as though there was a weak seam and sewed them up. Took some time and a couple of suitable sewing needles but as of now all is fine. I stay warm and dry in some nasty weather.

American Legacy has some deals on gill rainsuits, best suit for the money. Their hood and cuff designs are way better than anything else ive worn.

Anywhere they used the lighter fabric it is pulled away and frayed up.

had the 100MPH suit for going on 3yrs now. Mainly stay's shoved in front compartment, beat up by equipment, occasional anchor, thrown in traveling bag, back of truck. Drug through house by child, stepped on by dogs, worn by wife.... Everytime I need it, I sling it on, especially those cold mornings, and its yet to fail... Love it!
