    Winch handle

I got the F2 installed today and will try it out on the ramp on Monday. I put the handle on in the last hole to make it the maximum length and checked for clearance. I didn’t have a problem and torqued it down.

Is there any reason to make it shorter?

Shorter will be faster. Try it and see how it works.

Thanks for that tip. I played around with it in the garage and settled on the next to last hole on the short side. It did seem to be much faster in that position.

I will see how it is on the ramp tomorrow.

I had the f2 1600. Bought the f2 2000, single speed. My boat is easy to winch on now.

I just put the 2000 F2 on a Z21, the last hole was fine in the shop but when I took it to the lake it hit with the boat angle being different on the ramp. I also switched the strap to come under the spool so my hook would not hit my roller.
