If a "service station" like the one in the video opened anywhere near me, I wouldn't go anywhere else for gas. I still remember as a kid going to stations like this, I even had a buddy that worked at the last one in the area back in the early 80's. It really was all about providing great service to the customers... THAT, is the thing I miss most.
Yes, remember it and know it well. Started working at a Gulf Station in 1959 while in Jr. High until 1964.
I remember being a kid and always wanting one of those change dispensers they use to have on there belts Not sure what I was going to do with it though
