I fish a 10.5” Ol Monster almost exclusively when using a worm Texas rigged. June bug, South Africa Special, Redbug are my usual colors. Black/Purple also works at times. Great for Pitching, bottom dragging, and bed fishing.
Only other worm I really use with any frequency is a Culprit Original Worm either weightless, or pegged with a 1/16 or 1/8 ounce weight.
Black Shad 90% of the time. Carolina Bug the other 10%. Absolutely killer lure fished weightless, or lightly weighted around grass mats when dropped off the edge and left to sink slowly.

If You get in a pinch.. try this worm, widely available

Using this hook, placed on the 'flat side'

This hook is coated and heavier than 'norm'.

I just got a few pouches of these and haven't had a real good go yet. They do flap pretty good.

My favorite big worm. Zooms just seem to make baits right.

They're my favorite big worm that's not-so-big. The Big Bite Baits Kriet Tail is the one I throw most often when I'm throwing a "big worm," but those things are legit hunks of meat (think thickness of a 6" Senko). But the Ol' Monster is definitely a good one...available in a ton of colors too!

Have You tried the new 'Tour Worm' ? If You cut it at an angle You can get them to kick a bunch of water.. You cut out more than what is pre-cut.

Not as 'spongy feeling' as that BioSpawn™ but Gander™ had a deal so, welp...

Zoom Ol Monster is about the only one I fish. I usually c-rig it or sometimes t-rig it. Mostly a post spawn and into summer deal for me.
