I have a 2008 Z20 w rude 225 ho w a 10" Slide master I was going to raise it 1/4" and noticed that its about a 1/4" higher on the port side than it is on the starboard side is there a reason for this difference, any one have thoughts about this

Was the plate installed level?
jackplate might have been drilled wrong,it happened to me one time
Don't know I've only had it's since June it's a new to me boat
