a friend asked me about this yesterday and I knew the experts here could answer it.It happens everywhere to various degrees but what occurs here in Florida exactly ?What does everybody throw this time of year ? I know the ribbon tail worms don't seem to work very well. I've had luck with the fluke and jerk bait.
This time of year I like to/use 1. Flip 2. Swimjig 3. Chatterbait 4. Rattletraps and 5. Squarebill crankbaits shallow.
I like this time of year, I usually cover a lot more water with the baits I use. Expect flipping. I look for certain cover for flipping in that fall.

I’m searching and covering water this time of year. Jackhammer, swim jig, jerkbait, squarebill, Lil John, Spook, and a lipless.

I am thinking that there are a lot of lakes in Central Fl. that never actually turn over due to how shallow they are or if they have current.
