Been wanting to get a bracket like these, but I didn't feel that i could justify the price of the DD26......I have been using dual motor sticks and haven't had any issues at all....Now that RMP has produced a product at a better price I may try it...

What motor are you using it on? On my 200 pro xs I’m in the second hole and I’m still plenty high.

I love this product but I used it for one weekend and the welds started rusting. Anyone else have this issue. I contacted RMP over a week ago and have not heard back.

Yes i had the same thing happen. I also had the slide pins start to rust. I sprayed it with some WD40 type stuff. I hope that helps. Let me know what they tell you please.

I am gonna take mine apart and pain it blue. I wish i could powder coat. I am just going to get a spray can and do it and hope that help with sealing where the holes where the rust cam through.

I didnt have mine long enough to see if it would do that. I will say the finish that came on it came off pretty easy so im assuming they painted and not powder coated. Powder coating is awful to remove trust me mistakes are no fun for me lol. Honest review of this item the rubber bumber on the engine end is awesome and fits perfect. The other end of it is so so not what i expected for the money. I welded a couple holes in the welds and filled in a dent on one of the tubes. Its no big deal but $160 is enough. The pins on my old motormate are much smoother and better quality also. Just my opinion. I like it alot tho and how it works.

From where the rust is i am thinking that it is coming out of the weld instead of the weld rusting. I think there is hole in the weld and water is leaking from the inside. Just my opinion.

After contact with RMP a new replacement is on the way with a return label for the faulty unit.

Did they give you any trouble? If they were ok to deal with i will give them a call. Seems like it is well built built if it gets rusty it won't last long and will rust away. Did you call them or email?

sorry for the late reply, for me the second hole works perfect, the motors high enough but not too high. After reading through this I’m going to have to look closer and see if it is rusting, I hope not.

I called them and told them about my issue and with no problem they are sending me a replacement.

Well received the replacement and used it this weekend.
As you can see rust the first time out!
I will call RMP to see what they are going to do. There is a manufacturing issue and coating issue alowing rust to form from getting wet!
