Lowrance 3D - “No Source” issue

I have recently installed the 3D Module and transducer. I run dual Carbon Units. Upon installation, each unit recognized the S3D transducer and started generating a read out. That’s where everything has gone wonky. I dropped it in to test it out and it now states “no source”. I have troubleshooted the problem and the only thing that worked was to turn the Ethernet cable around (no clue why as it should be unidirectional but it worked). Got back on the water and now it cuts in and out as “no source”. One minute it’s working, next it’s no source, next it’s working but major lag time.

    Thoughts?

Ethernet cables are known to fail so try get another one and report back. I always have a spare on the boat.

I had no source issues and they guys here suggested a new Ethernet cable. I replaced it and everything has been good since. The cable was just a few months old.

I’ll give it a try. This is literally a new module/kit so I may reach out to Lowrance as well.
