Complete rookie on this but what are suggestions for best way to repair these places? I was told not as bad as it looked since not to fiberglass. Is that accurate?

It may just be the picture, but it looks like there is a slight shadow between the two layers, indicating a complete separation of layers. As many spots as there are, and if they are only on the pad and not anywhere else and if the layer underneath is solid, I believe I would actually try sanding the entire pad down to this solid layer. Experiment with it. Tape off a square area between two of the spots and sand that area down. See how it looks. See how that green layer of gel coat comes off. Does it just flake off? How solid is the next layer down? You'll be able to make a better informed decision once you try a small spot.

Glad you posted Bassnailer, it really looks like a de-lamination to me. I started to respond to his question but the picture really does not say 1000 words here.
I’d bet it’s delaminating....hard to tell from pic. Wonder what it looks like u set the bunks.?

I’ll bet if he sands the corners of the pad down to the next layer, then the gel on the pad will peel off. Start repairs from there. Sanding the corners will prevent peeling beyond that point.
If it were mine I wouldn't get it wet till it was fixed. Not sure that is a DIY fix unless you find someone that knows there stuff and willing to show you what to do.
I see a lot of cracking around each one of those spots.

Thanks for the info. I am taking it to a local place here for a quote and just wanted to get some info so I would be a little better educated before talking with them. If anyone knows anyone who woulld do this and lives in the east tn area let me know. Would love to have more than one look at it.
I’ve got a small 1/2 dollar size tight by a chine but can’t get to it what should I do thinking about putting it in the ramp and pulling it off a little so I can see it better

Lot of work there.your going to have to flip the boat over grind all the old gel coat off, clean it up with acetone, needs to be re glassed, they make a more flexible resin, not the hard glass in cheap kits, i would use bondo hardener instead of resin hardener, it lets you work faster, once you have glass it, your going to need a filler to get it back smooth then you can spray gel coat an flake are use clear with the flake that matches your hull, either way you will need a primer type spray gun because of the thicker gel coat are the clear with flake, wet sand outside of your repaired area so when you finish you can blend it in with clear, i am no P&b man but that's the way i would tackle it..
If what we are looking at is a Gel Coat hull... The Gel layer appears to have separated or delaminated from the structural glass along a good length of the bottom. This lack of support is what caused those egg shell chunks to break out and it will continue until all the gel has peeled off. The entire affected gel bottom will need to be removed to the edge of delamination. The glass layer checked for structural integrity and the gel re-shot. What caused it at this location is a mystery but could be a gremlin in other areas.
Take a plastic handled screw driver and lightly tap the handle to the hull. Take your time and cover the entire hull to determine the extent of the delamination problem. Everywhere you hear the dull thud will need to be addressed.
