Pre trip planning using Lakemaster plus

I will be going to a new lake and would like to set my depth highlights and review contours etc before leaving. Can someone point me to a simple vide explaining how to pull up the lake from 400 miles away to review and place waypoints etc.

Just turn on the Chart View and move the map with the 4-way button.

Do I need to be in simulation? Do I need to pick the lake from the Lake list?

If you don't have a GPS signal you will need to use simulator.

Make sure to turn off sonar in the menu tab and you can scout lakes just like your on them in the garage. Like said, zoom out and locate the lake and then zoom in on it and look around. I usually do this when going on a trip where I don’t fish a lot after I start seeing the wind/weather forecast.

The easiest way is just to pull it up from the lake list and it will put you right on the lake.

If you are using simulation mode off boat at home, you can Set Simulation Position for the lake.
