    New to Lowrance. How do I know if the right transducer is picking up?

    I bought a boat with Carbon 12s. Im assumming it is the total scan transducer. But, It always says ch 1 or ch 2 "this unit" on the screens. How do I know what transducer I have? Ive had humminbirds for the last decade and I know very little about these units,
