    202 power

Looking at a 95 202, do you guys think a 200 Mariner is a under sized motor for that boat.

I owned a '95 202 with a mariner 200 efi, boat ran just fine with that motor. Also ran a 2001 203 with the same motor and it was fine performance wise. Would a 250 be better? Probably, but the 200 did the job, both boats ran mid 60s with tournament load.

200 will make it a low to mid 60s boat, 250 mid to upper 70s

A 202/200 will run mid 60's year round ready to fish. I ran one for 10 years.

I run a 225 efi on my 2000 model 202 and have gotten 71mph on a super calm slick day, most of the time i get 68-69 with a half tank and moderate tackle load

Another thing to keep in mind is the 1995 202 is lighter than later model years. That girl will run just fine with a strong 200 on the back.
