    Proxs 200 225 250 lower unit

Has anyone recently noticed the torque master gearbox coming with 5 holes on the side instead of the standard 3. My motor delivered 4 monthmonths ago has 3 holes and a friend's has 5 delivered today.

    Thanks

Makes me worried about these motors overheating.

Probably not, but probably slower with 5 holes, the first of many tweaks that will cost the last couple mph.

I could be wrong, but at the speed our bass boats run we're packing in most of the water from the front holes in the cone. I'm guessing that there are applications that aren't ramming the water in like we are and those may need the 5 hole LU's. Thoughts?

So slower applications where there is lower flow rates? Such as?

Pontoons, high load low speed= less ram water pressure

sorry don was feeling clever earlier either the theory that air moving around a race car is more efficient than going through it.
