You're welcome. And it’s dry like you like it.
Fishers in Muenster Texas has some dang good dry jerky.
No love for Robertson’s? That’s some crazy dry stuff; delicious too!

A buddy’s deer jerky hands down
Buc-Ee's has some amazing jerky. Their best is the venison / beef sticks. AMAZING!!!!
Been fishin' since I was 5 years old...Thanks Grandpa!
$5.50 for 1.75 oz dried up Beef. 16oz/2oz = 8 x $5.50 =$44/lb - I can buy a Porterhouse or Aged piece of meat for that price at a Steak House Plus it takes 1/10th the time to cook than Dried Jerky--> .....But the Jerky takes 10X the time to chew. . . ---> There is a Place for Both in My World.

Another vote for Robertson's jerky sold under the Love brand. I actually just finished off a 1/2 pound carton of jerky five minutes ago that I picked up Monday afternoon!!! Yikes!!! It's that good! I can never stop eating it when I have some around! :)
It's really dry and flavorful without being too tough.
You can order it online at www.beefjerkynow.com. If you're a beef jerky person, you might find yourself going through a pound like its nothing! :)
Wild Bill's. Pilot truck stops usually have the one lb jerky bags buy one get one.

Mingua Hot is my favorite.
A dealer for Mingua gave me five bags a few years ago on a boat dock at Ky. Lake.
He sure knew what he was doing because I have easily spent over a thousand on Mingua since then.
I guess he followed the dealer’s credo: “the first time is free”

Try Cedar Creek, it is drier and very good jerky.

There used to be a place in the Smokey Mountains called Smokey Mountain beef jerked. I think that was the name. They had some Cajun flavor. It was very good

Good stuff made in Missouri.
Thanks for the info. I see a few names that I will have to contact and buy from. As for making my own, went that route some years ago. Bought a regular dryer. Got to say, it came out really good. Problem was two fold, 1st is was a lot of work, and 2nd as it was drying I would sample to make sure I had the right consistency. By the time I figured it was ready I had eaten half of what I was making.
Cedar Creek is the best I have seen retail.
I like my jerky with a bit of moisture in it. I have tried just about every commercial brand out there but the stuff my son makes is by far my favorite. He does one that has just a bit of heat to it that I can't get enough of.

I get some good jerky in Gatlinburg, but my all time favorite is Mingua. We buy it locally at Kroger.
