    Older Triton recarpet

For those of you who have recarpeted older Triton's, what did the floor look like once the carpet was pulled? Mine like to have more than a dozen screw holes covered over with what looks like Bondo. Also, under the driver console is built up and covered in glasse cloth/resin. Almost like like a repair job

Isn't that where the hot foot would mount? It's raised so you can screw it down and not go through the hull.

I did mine and I also had some random screws in areas that were covered as well. Made no difference in the outcome of the job.

The screws were put in to draw the deck down to the floor to eliminate any air or voids. There is a bonding agent between the floor and and the fiberglass stringer system.
